couldn't...

fit one more posting in march, so who's gonna be the april fool and read this?

been on a ticket buying spree lately. friday, i went downtown to purchase tix to three events...sporting, theatre, and music...and all in record time.

my first stop was the pepsi center for a family four pack to the nuggets game this wednesday. although the seats are horrendous (just a few rows from the top...look for the pink mark in section 348), for $59, a family 4 pack consists of four admissions, four hot dogs, four sodas, and a $10 card at the ESPN Zone...a deal considering tickets even in the nosebleed areas are not $14.75 each.

the second stop was the paramount. yes, a couple days after the G3 show (w/ my niece), i found out that another of her favorite performers, regina spektor, will be there may 4th. of course, having already given her b-day present, my sister, susie, will spring for these...and this time, i ain't going (have you heard her "music"? :P)

and the last stop was the DCPA, where i got a couple tix for this show. it's at the teeny tramway theater, which is across the street from the main complex. i think it'll be an interesting show. it's one of two productions that is being undertaken by the national theatre conservatory. yes, denver actually has a conservatory, which offers an MFA in theatre training. i only know this weird fact because my friend, Sam Wood, got his MFA there about 15 years ago.

the theatre tix are a partial b-day present for lois. the show (4/19) begins at 8:00, which should leave us plenty of time to have dinner either here or here. i'm not sure which place yet - such intriguing menus though. surprisingly, neither place is downtown...but both are w/in a 10-minute drive. i may just have to flip a coin, eh?
